By the decision of the Archbishop of Przemyśl (Poland), Fr Lukasz’s home diocese, he is being moved back to take over another assignment. FR LUKASZ’s FAREWELL MASS will be on the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus on Friday, 28th June 2019 at 7.00pm. There will be a Second Collection on the weekend 15/16th June. You may also offer your donation in a clearly marked envelope (Fr Lukasz’s Gift) over the next few weekends. The gift will be presented to Fr Lukasz at his Farewell Mass.

FOODBANK J&P group are holding a collection for the Food Bank on the weekend 29th/30th June. You can help a family in your local area cope by buying just a little bit extra in store and donating it to the Family Food Bank. Items you can donate include: tinned meats and vegetables, rice and porridge oats. UHT Long life milk, Instant Coffee (value brand) Sugar (1kg or 500g packets) Items for Baby Boxes : Nappies (especially size 4 and 5), A box will be placed in the porch on the week prior to the collection. ST JOHN’S SEMINARY: Sacred Heart Chapel Appeal The Chapel, dedicated to the Sacred Heart, is at the Heart of the Seminary where Mass and the Divine Office are celebrated daily, where Exposition and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament takes place, and where private prayer and meditation sustain the community in its task of providing good priests for today’s Church. The Chapel was last decorated in the 1980’s and is in need of some repair, refurbishment and decoration, which it is estimated will cost in the region of £350,000. St John’s Seminary is asking if parishioners would generously help them restore the Sacred Heart Chapel to good order by means of a donation. EVENINGS OF RECOLLECTION Wednesday 26th June at 6.30pm-8.45pm in St. Teresa’s Church. This month the Recollection falls on the feast of St. Josemaria, founder of Opus Dei. This is not only for t ladies who attend the recollection, but for anyone who is interested in hearing more about the life of St. Josemaria. There will be light refreshments in the parish hall afterwards. There will be Holy Mass followed by two half hour meditations & Rosary. Also, a time for private prayer and confession between the meditations. All welcome.

GAP YEAR VOLUNTEERS SCYS are looking for talented and committed gap year volunteers to live in Christian community and work with young people.
