EVENINGS OF RECOLLECTION for Women, Wednesday 24th April at 6.30pm-8.45pm in St. Teresa’s Church. A recollection is a time to reflect on how we live our faith every day, both at work, and in family life. There will be Holy Mass followed by two half hour meditations & Rosary. Also, a time for private prayer and confession between the meditations. All women welcome.
ST TERESA’S WALKING GROUP Saturday 27th April meet at 9.00am in the Church car park to proceed to Lenham for a walk of 5 miles. More in the Newsletter.
DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY. On Sunday 28th April at 3.00pm all are welcome to join us for Divine Mercy Hour at St Teresa’s Church. Among the practices associated with the devotion are its novena, the Chaplet of the Divine Mercy, the Hour of Great Mercy traditionally celebrated at 3pm, and the plenary indulgence granted to those who receive the Eucharist and celebrate reconciliation on Divine Mercy Sunday. The celebration of Divine Mercy Sunday is an opportunity to reflect on the theme of how God’s mercy can overcome sin and, a perennial invitation to the Christian world to face, with confidence in divine benevolence, the difficulties and trials that mankind will experience in the years to come.
FIRST FRIDAY There will be a Mass on Friday 3rd May at 7.30pm followed by Exposition until 9.00pm.
CONFIRMATION QUIZ NIGHT Thursday 23rd May in the Church hall 7.30pm-9.30pm. The Confirmation Group will be raising money to support Tiny Toes the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford. So get your teams ready for Quiz of the year. More details to follow.
MASS IN CELEBRATION OF THE SACRAMENT OF MARRIAGE on 13th July at St George’s Cathedral If you are celebrating your First /10th/25th/40th/50th/60th + wedding anniversary this year, please apply as soon as possible. Get in touch with the parish office and provide your names, the anniversary you are celebrating, your home address, email address and telephone, so you can receive an invitation from the Archbishop.
