Fr  Piotr (Peter) Kucharski
Parish Priest

Fr Peter was ordained for the Archdiocese of Przemyśl, Poland in May 2009. He started his ministry in England in 2012 as an Assistant Priest in St Francis Church, Maidstone. In May 2017 he joined the ranks of Southwark priests. He was made the Parish Priest of St Teresa’s, Ashford in September 2017.

– Spiritual care over St Teresa’s Primary School
– Marriage preparation and paperwork
– Overseeing all formation groups and Sacramental Programmes in the Parish

– Pilgrims Hospice, Ashford and all Nursing Homes in the area (on-call chaplain)

Fr Joseph Owusu-Ansah
Assistant Priest

Fr Joe joined St Teresa’s Parish as Assistant Priest in September 2019. He was ordained at St George’s Cathedral, Southwark on 19 July 2014, after completing seminary formation at St John’s Seminary, Wonersh.

Some of Fr Joseph’s responsibilities:
– Altar Servers
– Teenage Confirmation Group
– Catholic Youth Group
– Overseeing the sick visits in the Parish
– Marriage preparation and paperwork
– William Harvey Hospital (on-call chaplain)
– Pilgrims Hospice, Ashford and all Nursing Homes in the area (on call chaplain)

Fr Rodney Schofield
(resides at Wye)

Fr Rodney looks after St Ambrose Chapel, Wye

Fr Jibin James

Fr Jibin came from India, Kerala. Ordained in 2016. In 2019 he came to Kent to look after the Knanaya Community (within the Syro-Malabar Rite)

Fr Lukasz Haduch – Assistant Priest (November 2017 – July 2019)

  • now back in Poland to take up a new appointment in the Metropolitan Major Seminary in Przemyśl.
